The Lyric Foundation believes that in order for educators to continue to make sound decisions about education practices and policies, they must seek to better understand the foundations of teaching and learning which guide the profession. Only through the exploration of ideas can these fundamentals be uncovered, and educators working across the board must share this responsibility. Lyric Foundation is dedicated to ongoing research in the STEM fields and through the Lyric Center for Educational Research & Development they will continue to search for innovative ways to break the barriers that are often experienced by student learners. Through this center, researchers can apply their advanced knowledge of educational research and statistics to improve student achievements and recommend innovative teaching approaches, according to the American Educational Research Association.
